Prostheses from thermoplastic materials i.e. acetal and Vertex ThermoSens are resistant to mechanical overload, today’s acrylic prostheses are thinner and tougher than usually.
They are characterized by high aesthetics in comparing to skeletal metal dentures and offer the patient more comfort and reliability. Buckles or so-called hooks are in colour of the tooth which makes the whole invisible even from the near distance.
These prostheses have an appropriate degree of flexibility which causes that they don’t warp even after the long-standing life cycle, don’t become brittle and don’t lose their shape.
Thermoplastic materials dentures are possible to be made both at the total toothlessness (Polyan ACR, Acrylic) as well as at the partial toothlessness (Acetal, Vertex ThermoSens, Acrylic).
